Seriously, put the phone down!

It sounds like an April Fool's Joke, but it's no joke. According to the results of a survey sponsored by Careerbuilder.com, the number one "pet peeve" for HR managers interviewing job candidates is answering your phone or texting during an interview. Some of the other things you shouldn't do during an interview:

  • Appear disinterested
  • Dress inappropriately
  • Appear arrogant
  • Talk negatively about current or previous employers
